Alhambra Live presents the main event of the Morecambe Rides Again Scooter weekender.
Featuring 3 great live bands…
First up we have the excellent mod band, Bits & Pieces, making the journey from North of the border. Their last appearance was a storming set at March of the Mods Morecambe 2024 and it’s great to have them back.
Next, for all you Britpop fans, we have a band making their Morecambe debut, the fantastic Cheats, with a set of indie classics from the 80’s and 90’s.
Last up and making a long overdue return to Morecambe, we have 2 Tone and Ska legends, the superb Manchester Ska Foundation, guaranteed to have our dance floor bouncing playing the classics!
With DJ’s between bands playing all the scooter scene classics.
18+ only. This is a mixed standing / seated event with seats available on a first come first served basis.

Hi There!
Can we play for you please?
I’m Matt and I’m the bassist from Alsatian Eyes.
Alsatian Eyes are a three piece post-punk outfit who met earlier this year (2025) in the smouldering cauldron of the Lancaster open mic scene. Drawn to each other by their love of all things punk and new wave, Alsatian Eyes quickly began collaborating on writing, recording and, above all, performing live at any possible opportunity.
Our first formal gig was at The Taphouse in Lancaster on 25th June and we are now booked in for more gigs in and around the music pubs of the area. The grown-up/old man of the group (Matt) is also looking into booking any venue that might have the chops to handle our level of awesome.
The first single (Noise) is due for release on the 31st July while the the rest of our debut album is being recorded at 6DB studios under the production and expert tutelage of Ding (AAAK/1919/The Fall/The Pixies/PJ Harvey) and with session assistance from Felix Hagan (Felix Hagan and the Family/Operation Mincemeat).
I know it’s late in the day, but we’d be keen to do pretty much whatever we can. If there are venues around the Morecambe Rides Again sphere of influence that might need acts, we’d really appreciate a shot at rocking the trousers of one or two people.
Peace love and hair grease,
Matt. Xxx
