Corrosion Fest is a dark alternative music festival that takes place at The Alhambra Theatre, Morecambe, UK, a wonderful old theatre.

The festival is celebrating its 5th instalment in 2025 and has so far featured live music from bands originating from the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Costa Rica.

As it is the 5th year of our pocket bespoke international indoor festival, we have 12 great bands over the 2 days, together with resident DJ The Gothmariner, keeping the party going after the live acts. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming safe-space where everyone is friendly and can feel comfortable.

FRIDAY BANDS:

• Gothzilla (full band) – Our Friday night headliners are a gothic rock band from Scotland who have appeared on both our CorrosionFest and Bats in the Attic stages in various incarnations. This headline show though has them in a limited edition full 5-piece band line up.
• Pretty Addicted – A UK band with a mix of electronica and metal, as well as many other music styles and added blasphemy on top.
• Mercury Machine – A dark electro rock band from Manchester, with a sound combination of guitars, synths, and indie attitude.
• Instant Lake – A darkwave/post-punk band from southern Italy, known for their atmospheric and moody sound.

SATURDAY BANDS:

• The Foreign Resort – Our Saturday night headliners, The Foreign Resort are a Danish post-punk band from Copenhagen who formed in 2009. Their sound is described as explosive, melancholy, and mystical.
• Your Life On Hold – Your Life on Hold are a Gothic rock project from Ostend, Belgium, who are part of the Solar Lodge family.
• Sexblood – Sexblood are an up-and-coming old school gothic rock band from Mulhouse, France.
• Divine Shade – Divine Shade are a French darkwave and coldwave band that combines electronic music with cold wave culture.
• Rome Burns – Rome Burns are a post-punk/ gothic rock band originally from Cambridgeshire.
• Elkapath – Elkapath are a gothic synth metal band from Gloucester.
• Vazum – VAZUM are a dark-rock band from Detroit, Michigan that combines goth, post-punk and shoegaze influences into their own Deathgaze sound.
• Black Rain – Black Rain are a dark, aggressive post-punk band from the North East of England.
