CorrosionFest is a dark alternative music festival which takes place at The Alhambra Theatre, Morecambe, UK.

The festival is celebrating its 6th instalment in 2026 and has so far featured live music from bands originating from the UK, Europe, USA, Canada and Costa Rica.

We have 12 great bands over the 2 days of our pocket bespoke international indoor festival,, together with resident DJ The Gothmariner and guest DJ Photogoth (Necroscope, Coventry), keeping the party going after the live acts. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming, safe-space where everyone is friendly and can feel comfortable.

FRIDAY BANDS:

• Motel Transylvania– Our Friday night headliners are a dark industrial metal band from Italy who are making a swift return to the festival having blown the audience away in their debut UK performance at CorrosionFest 2024.
• Der Himmel– (formerly Der Himmel Über Berlin) is an Italian post-punk/darkwave band formed around 2010, whose performance will be their debut in the UK.
• Darkways– Currently setting the scene alight following the release of their latest album “Rust”, Darkways are a darkwave/post-punk musical project based in Spain and are also making their UK debut.
• Scheitan– A gothic rock band from Sweden who have released two alums since their return in 2023 after a 24-year hiatus.

SATURDAY BANDS:

• Traitrs– Our Saturday night headliners, TRAITRS is a Canadian post-punk/darkwave duo formed in 2015, known for their cinematic, gothic sound and energetic live performances. They have established themselves as a fast-rising band in the North American and European dark music scenes, with a sound often compared to early The Cure.
• Manuskript– Nottingham’s reformed UK 90’s scene veterans make a welcome return to playing live, bringing their dark and melodic ways to CorrosionFest. Hurrah!
• Seekers are Lovers– A new wave/goth rock inspired band from Germany, who released their debut album “Nepenthes” in 2023, and will be making their UK debut.
• The Eddies– Scotland’s The Eddies bring some high-octane punk rock to CorrosionFest and will close the first half of Saturday’s show.
• Subatomic Strangers–A Belgian alternative rock band, known for their 1980s-influenced sound that blends new wave, post-punk, and gothic rock elements.
• IAmImperfect – Synthpop/industrial gothic duo based in Sheffield, UK, known for creating dark, atmospheric music with a blend of electronic elements and rock influences.
• Drave– An English three-piece group originating from Shrewsbury. These young guns bring a sound that blends post-punk, new wave, and goth influences.
• Art Gallery– Local Lancaster youngsters who formed in 2023 and produce a dark experimental goth sound.
