[[[O]]] BLAQKHOLESUN 2025 – PHOTOCALL & THANK YOUS [[[O]]]
BLAQKHOLESUN remains a splendid combination of great music & fabulous people, in a simply amazing venue (Alhambra Live), with the intended aim of showcasing some of the very best of the vibrant UK alt music scene. 
Like all UK events we could do with more far people attending, but we are well aware of the current wider economic situation, but I cannot pretend that going forward, that the future of The BlaqkhOlesun – Alternative Music Festival, is now sadly in doubt.
So if you want a Year 3 event in 2026, perhaps now is the time to shout loudly!!!
A massive THANK YOU you to everyone who attended, and to all the amazing (Day 1) bands who entertained us from start to finish
ie Jan Doyle Band / Valentina Reptile / Dimethoxy / Cryogenica & the one & only Jay Smith aka Deviant UK.
& Day 2 saw the dark delights of Another Thursday / Feather Trade / IAmImperfect / Dhampyres / deadfilmstar / & Goteki.
All the photography here by the widely admired Kevin Stevens. Also present in the pit of doom, was local lens man Paul Geddes. And I know how much the all bands appreciate all your work & they also get an instant on stage buzz, when you point your pro gear in their direction.
Much Love & rockets to our superstar event team ie Jonathan Housbey (Stage Manager), Andrew Prince (Sound Engineer), Jay Charles, aka DJ Jay Sinful Whitby (DJ / MC), and my long suffering partner in all things Sarahjane Farr.
& the real cherry on the cake was of course seeing Alex Wetton up & about.
